The 1^st school term is over and done with – what a quick semester! I’m sure the parents are relieved and looking forward to some well-deserved breathing time.

Easter 2025

Our Lord Jesus Christ took our burdens upon Him willingly when He paid for our salvation in full – He is our REST! We will soon be celebrating Easter – His death and His triumphant resurrection! Glory! Glory! Glory!

Never underestimate the value of taking time to rest and recuperate. Jesus Himself took His disciples aside – we need to take care of ourselves in order to take care of others. The workshop is necessary for YOU to understand your body and take care of it the correct way. The gift box is, well the clue is in the word “a gift” …. for yourself, for a friend, for someone special, for that one person or family who really won’t be expecting such a BLESSING!

TSOTA Studente Terugvoering & Openbarings

Ek is so bevoorreg om huiswerk-antwoorde en vars, nuwe openbarings van studente te ontvang. Ek deel graag hierdie maand een van my Ma se antwoorde met julle. (Sy is sowaar ook hierdie jaar ‘n student, en dit op 81-jarige ouderdom).

Haar insig oor die onbekende vrou wat Jesus se hoof gesalf het in Mattheus 26, is dat daardie olie oor Jesus se klere ook sou vloei. Toe Hy later gekruisig is en Sy klere verdeel is, wat is die kans, vra sy, dat dit hierdie kleed sou wees waaroor die olie sou uitloop? Wat is die kans dat daardie soldate juis hierdie gesalfde klere sou verdeel het? En wat is die kans dat, sou iemand van hulle siek wees, hy sumier genesing sou ontvang? Vergifnis vir sy sonde sou ontvang?

Volgende maand deel ek graag meer oor nuwe, vars openbarings van ons studente wie se harte yielded is om God se salwingsrykdom te ontvang.

Most probably you are aware of the 1-Minute devotions on Die GROOT Ontbyt (kykNET DStv Channel 144) and our own Dr. Eunicé van der Merwe featuring regularly? During April she will be sharing gems on the topic of Prayer. Although we don’t have control over the scheduling, you will have to be up by 06:00 to share in these Anointed motivational and uplifting moments.

Please make a note of Thursday 24 April 2025, when GROOTfm 90.5 hosts their annual 24-day of Prayer – GROOTgebed! On this special occasion, the entire GROOTfm-team will be placing their regular program content aside to PRAY! All programs will be devoted to a new Prayer topic with a dedicated guest speaker talking about a specific topic. People from all over the country will be able to phone in with Prayer requests.

This year Eunicé has the privilege to be behind the microphone from 22:00 – 23:00, talking about holiness and the anointing with oils – what an OPEN DOOR!

‘n Persoonlike Nota

April maand is my ‘negende verjaardag maand’ as een van die GROOT Ontbyt se inspirasie aanbieders. Ek kan my persoonlike ervaring na NEGE jaar in een woord opsom: GROOTGroei!

Om ‘n inspirasie te skryf wat elkeen wat daarna luister; hetsy boer, skolier, huisvrou of besigheidsman te impakteer, is amper onmoontlik. Ek moes leer om by my persoonlike oortuiging van waaroor ek moet ‘inspireer’ te bly. In die proses het ek soveel skatte ontdek.

Skatte van mense wat uitstaande dinge vermag het, soos die Tannie wat op 90 begin skryf het aan haar lewensverhaal en die boek op 100-jarige ouderdom uitgegee het. Skatte in die Woord, skatte in die natuur en skatte in gewone gesprekke – soos soms na die opnames met die kameraman!

Maar alles het neergekom op GROEI! Ek het aanvaar dat ‘n valskerm net werk as hy oop is – my hart en my kop, my siel en my gees moet altyd oop en ontvanklik wees – anders leer ek nie wat my gehoor gaan inspireer nie.

Tydens Aprilmaand opnames gaan ek gesels oor heiligheid en GEBED. Catherine Marshall het oor die aangrypende krag van die ‘gebed van afstanddoening’ geskryf! Ek gaan mense ongetwyfeld met haar insig hieroor inspireer. Ook ‘die gebed in die geheim’ en die gebed van vreugdevolle seën. Wat ‘n voorreg om met hierdie platvorm geseën te wees!!
